Together with Ron’s parents we did some sightseeing in Bangkok.
We went to Wat Phra Kaeo (Temple of Emerald Buddha) and, of course, to the
Grand Palace and Wat Pho. We finished the first full day in Chinatown, where we
had some delicious food in some food stalls.
The next day, we started on a snake farm where Red Cross
Thailand is producing venom antidotes. The Museum of Siam was really
interesting as well and gave us some new information about Thailand and some
insight into their culture.
Finally, we had dinner in Khao San Road, a terrible but
must-have-seen place in Bangkok.
