The
next highlight on our trip though Myanmar was Bagan. To discover this ancient
capital we rented bicycles and an E-bike (!!). We think that the pictures speak
for themselves: it is an amazing area (41 sq km) to discover… the funny part is
that if you think having seen all the pagodas, think again, there are hundreds
more popping out like mushrooms… All together there are over 4000 temples. Wow!!
Two hours drive away from Nyaung U we went to see the wonderful Mount Popa- a temple situated on top of a hill. The Nats (ancients spirits) are worshiped here but look more like dolls for kids.
