Of all our stays on Apo Island the most impressive happening was Fiesta (April 4 and 5). This fiest is actually dedicated to the patron of the Island, San Vincente Ferrer. Indeed we could not have imagined a more dramatic change of our beloved and peaceful 'home'. For two days our only occupation was eating yummy lechon (suckling pig) and drinking Tanduay Rum (even Cheun couldn't stay abstinent). But don't think this whole event was relaxing and easy going! Not at all - it was stressful! ;-) We had to manage a very loaded schedule: on the fifth alone we went eating/drinking/laughing at 6 different places.... and tired of all that pork we still managed to dance and party at the basketball court transformed in a 'discotheque'.
