Thailand- IDC

After two amazing weeks spent with Sandra and Horst, it was time to say goodbye. We moved on to Kata Beach.

Monday was the first day of our IDC course. Two pretty hard weeks for us, with loads of information during the day (usually from 9 to 6), then homework and reading up. A lot of theory, PADI standards, pool and open water exercises! These days were REALLY intense! Luckily we had nice company with Miki (Japan), Domenic (USA), Gundi (Germany) and Sara (Iran). Thanks again for all your support and the good time we spent together! Also a big thanks to Artin, our course director!

Two weeks later, we passed the Instructor Examination successfully! Yeah!!!!!!! We are officially PADI Instructors now!!!!

E ganz grousse MERCI och un all eis Frenn a Famill déi den Cheun esou léif ennerstetzt hunn! Där sidd di Bescht!!!!!

Thailand- Kho Phi Phi

A wonderful daytrip was going to Kho Phi Phi, the famous island... Indeed it is very beautiful, but overcrowded and snorkeling is not really what we expected... Anyway, we had a fantastic time...

Thailand- Phuket

We were SO excited to meet Sandra and Horst, Cheuns parents, in Phuket... The reunion was set in TWIN PALMS HOTEL, a fabulous place. It offered all the luxury we hadn't had for a very long time... and even more... we felt like in paradise! Especially the breakfast buffet was amazing; some days we spend 2,5 hours there!!!

Another food highlight was Phuket Weekend Market with dozens of food stalls... one more delicious than the other...

Joy was great and we spent relaxing and fun days together! We had a lot to celebrate in two short weeks: Christmas, Sandra's birthday and of course, New Year...
