After a few days in the city, we felt the urge to see some
green again. That’s why we decided to visit Leshan with its giant Buddha
statue. Breathtaking and really huge! Unfortunately it was raining that day and
it was really foggy. That’s why we skipped our plan to continue to Emei
Mountain and took a bus back to Chengdu. Sorry people, no pics of Emei, you’ll
have to google it!!! ;-)

China- Panda breeding station
Chengdu is home to a panda breeding station. A must-see for
all visitors to Chengdu. And they are soooooooooooooo cuuuuuuuuute!!!!
China-Sichuan Opera
You cannot leave Chengdu without visiting Sichuan Opera. It is more about theatre, dancing, face changing art, marionettes and fire-spitting than about singing. Still a nice evening!
China-Chengdu
A city in China we had never heard of before surprisingly turned
out to be very modern and enjoyable. With more than 10 million people, it is
the capital of Sichuan province. After Tibet it was a more than welcoming
change and we even found a McDonald’s for Cheun! lol!
We strolled around, went to the cinema and enjoyed city
life. We had loads of tea and of course the famous hot pot where we tried chicken
heart, chicken feet and chicken lungs. And liked it to our surprise!
